The parish is the center of faith formation for Catholics. Every person in your pews, every Catholic in your parish community…child or adult…is on their own journey toward Christ and a life of discipleship.

Religious Education Classes
St. Mary's Faith Formation Program
is led by Kisha Craig. CCD is held in our parish hall starting the 3rd Sunday of September. All children Pre-K (4 year old potty-trained) to young adult are welcome. Please contact Kisha Craig for more information at kishacraig.dre@gmail.com.

Sundays 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
St. John's Faith Formation Program
is led by Stephanie Harms. CCD is held after Mass in the basement of the Church starting the 3rd Sunday of September. All children kindergarten to young adult are welcome. Please contact Stphanie Harms for more information at GHSH_2@msn.com.

Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Baptismal Certificate--Students not baptized at St. Mary's or St. John's need to provide a copy of their baptismal certificate to stmaryselpaso@gmail.com and kishacraig.dre@gmail.com for St. Mary's or GHSH_2@msn.com for St. John's.
Sacrament Preparation for 1st Communion & 1st Penance
St. Mary's and St. John's both offer Sacrament preparation for First Communion and First Penance to children entering the 2nd grade. The CCD second grade teacher at St. Mary's is Allison Malcom and the teacher at St. John's is Erica Heineke.
Confirmation Preparation
Both St. Mary's and St. John's provide a 2-year Confirmation Preparatory class for young adult students. The class follows the guidelines set by the Catholic Diocese of Peoria and meets during normal CCD time.
Contact Information
All families who choose to participate in our Religious Education Program should be registered with St. Mary's or St. John's Parish and provide copies of baptismal certificates for all registered students.
